Biography[]
Arielle Tuliao is an award-winning actress and singer born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
She began her journey into the entertainment industry when she started taking voice lessons in 2000 at Ed and Salve’s Music Studio, and has been in love with music and performing ever since. In her teens she was a soloist in Saint Thomas More Collegiate’s Choir program, and at 16, Arielle auditioned for Canadian Idol and made it to the Top 100.
After winning the Canadian Pinoy Singing Idol title in 2007, Arielle took a break from singing to focus on acting. She studied at Vancouver Film School and in her final term she starred in the short film, “Come Home Soon,” directed by Matthew Lillard.
Still, she considers 2011 the official start of her acting career. That year, Arielle went straight into filming for “Her Story” (2012 Leo Award for “Best Performance by a Female in a Short Drama”) after a month of playing Dorothy in “The Wiz”. It was then she decided to solely pursue a career in Film and Television. She has since gone on to appear in Disney’s “Mech-X4”, ABC Network’s “The Good Doctor”, and the feature film “If I Stay”!
She also sings the Canadian and American national anthems for local professional sports teams, including the Vancouver Whitecaps FC and WFC2, the Vancouver Canucks, the Vancouver Canadians, UBC Thunderbirds, and Canada Rugby. She has also sung the French-Canadian Anthem for the Seattle Sounders and Seattle Seahawks.
Arielle is represented by Jason Ainslie (Film/TV) and Sara Parker (Voice Over) at Principals Talent.[1]
