SunnyFace
Sunny was at an age where one mostly speaks in a series of unintelligible shrieks. Except when she used the few actual words in her vocabulary, like "bottle," "mommy,' and "bite," most people had trouble understanding what it was that Sunny was saying.

The Bad Beginning, Chapter One

A compilation of the words used by Sunny Baudelaire (and, in few instances, Beatrice Baudelaire II[1]) in baby-language, as well as their definitions, sources, and possible allusions.

Trivia

  • In the books, the language seems exclusive to Sunny Baudelaire and Beatrice Baudelaire II, and only Violet and Klaus seem able to understand.
  • In the Netflix series, it is implied that Fiona may have once spoken it, or that it is very common among babies, as Fernald is able to understand and translate for Sunny,[2][3][4] most likely due to the age gap between him and Fiona and the fact he would've had to translate for her.[5]
