Black Cat Coffee is a coffee shop located in Stain'd-by-the-Sea. Ellington Feint is known to frequent there for the coffee and to use its attic to hide things. The shop is located at the corner of Caravan and Parfait, both of which are names of songs by Duke Ellington. Inside the shop, there is a piano that plays lonely tunes.

The only important thing mentioned about Black Cat Coffee in this book, is the fact that Ellington Feint led Lemony Snicket to believe that he possessed a statue of the Bombinating Beast, when really, he only had a bag of Black Cat coffee
When Did You See Her Last?
Lemony Snicket and Ellington walk to the Coffee shop together in hopes of unraveling the mystery of Cleo Knight's disappearance. Their trip is fruitless however, and instead results in Ellington's arrest.
Shouldn't You Be in School?
Utilizing the secret attic of the coffee shop, Lemony hides important books.
