— The Broken-Hearted Crocodile, "The Reptile Room: Part One"
|
The Broken-Hearted Crocodile is a species of crocodile that was kept in Monty Montgomery's Reptile Room.
Description
The Broken-Hearted Crocodile is a "particularly sad" crocodile species that is found in swampy regions. Its call sounds very similar to the English words "Woe is Me."
A specimen of the snake was kept in Monty Montgomery's Reptile Room. Violet Baudelaire mentions that she found it comforting to assure it, while it frustrated Klaus Baudelaire.[1]
