The Chief of Police is a character in the series who acts as the leader of the police department in the Village of Fowl Devotees. It is implied that he was murdered by either Count Olaf or Esmé Squalor.

Biography

He was the Chief of Police in the Village of Fowl Devotees. He seems to have been well-liked by the villagers, as one of them who was named Mr. Lesko seems concerned at his absence.

To allow Esmé Squalor to take his place, he must've been murdered by her or Count Olaf. Esmé, as Officer Luciana, claims that he accidentally swallowed a box of thumbtacks.
