Dawn Jeffory-Nelson is an actress, acting coach, and baby wrangler. She was a baby wrangler for the 2004 film Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events. She has acted in many productions including: Mommie Dearest, 7th Heaven, The Kid Super Power Hour with Shazam, and Charlies Angels among other productions.
Her job was to make sure that Kara and Shelby Hoffman the twins who played Sunny Baudelaire behaved themselves on set and performed in their scenes.
Luckily she discovered a secret to winning the twins over. Cheerios! Whenever the 15 month old Kara or Shelby completed a scene successfully they were given cheerios as a reward. She often hid in a scene to coax them along. In part of The Wide Window segment she hid under a canvas sail.
One time when Shelby was filming one of the boat scenes she got cranky would not perform. So Dawn was singing a song to her to try to get her to calm down. And Meryl Streep started singing along with her.
