Colby Cremers is a young actor who worked as a photo double for Sunny Baudelaire in the Netflix adaptation of A Series of Unfortunate Events.
Biography[]
Colby Cremers is the son of Kim Cremers, and has two older siblings named Kallie and Carter Cremers (who also do modeling and acting)[2][3][4]. He is noted to enjoy hockey.
He worked as Presley Smith's double for Sunny Baudelaire, as due to child labor laws she was unable to be on set for several of her scenes; Colby would don the costume and act for shots where Sunny's face did not need to be in frame.
His favorite episode to film was The Carnivorous Carnival[5] and The Hostile Hospital[6] (or in his language at the time "Fortunate Events: the doctor one"). He also loved pretending to be the director and shouting "Action"[7].
Even being a double could be difficult. His diving suit in The Grim Grotto: Part One weighed as much as he did. But, according to his mom Kim "he was a trooper and ate a lot of jellybeans while in that suit"[8].
He enjoyed playing with Presley. He even stated that he wants to go on a date with her when he was older[9].
Since the filming of ASOUE, it does not appear that he has done much other acting/modeling work. However, as of July 2021 he and both of his siblings were booked for an optometry commercial which was filmed on July 13[10].
