"Gunther Rope and Penthouse Tour" is an instrumental track that plays during the Netflix adaptation of A Series of Unfortunate Events, Season 2: "The Ersatz Elevator: Part One."

Usage[]

Believing that Count Olaf may attempt to murder Jerome Squalor in order to marry Esmé, Klaus and Sunny Baudelaire return to the foyer, where they see Olaf about to cut a chandelier rope above Jerome. Klaus knocks Jerome out of the way, though Esmé is only concerned about the fact they landed on a sofa from the King of Arizona. Count Olaf, disguised as Gunther, questions the location of Violet Baudelaire, to which Klaus responds that she is exploring, tauntingly implying that she is looking for Duncan and Isadora Quagmire. He then intentionally suggests that the penthouse only has "two or three rooms," catching Esmé's attention. She then insists on leading Jerome, Gunther, Klaus and Sunny on a full tour of the enormous penthouse.
