>"In Loco Parentis" is the fourth track on the soundtrack of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events.

Right after Arthur Poe leaves, Count Olaf locks the door and gives the children a tour of his dismal house, while mocking them. He warns Klaus Baudelaire to never enter his secret tower room.

The track is named after a section of the book that did not make the cut into the film, in which Poe explains that Olaf is allowed to do whatever he wishes to the children as he is acting in the role of their parent.
