Jacques Snicket is the younger brother of Lemony and twin to Kit Snicket.
He appeared briefly in The Vile Village, when he was the mistaken for Count Olaf by the various citizens of the Village of Fowl Devotees. Before he could be burned at the stake, he was murdered by the real Count Olaf, who blamed the Baudelaires for the murder. That is why the Baudelaires are on the run and are not with guardians. They are suspected of the murder of "Count Omar", or who Geraldine Julienne mistook for Count Olaf.
