Last Chance General Store is a general store located in the Hinterlands (which is practically in the middle of nowhere). They do have a telegram service though. The Baudelaires stop there when they escape the Village of Fowl Devotees, and from there they attempt to send a telegram to Mr. Poe.[1]
The owner of the store is Milt. When the Baudelaire's come he bakes them cranberry muffins. He does not charge the Volunteers Fighting Disease.[1]
Description
It is described to be "covered with fading posters that advertised what was sold."[1]
