Luke Camilleri portrays Gustav Sebald in the Netflix adaption of A Series of Unfortunate Events.
Biography
Camilleri was born on June 23, 1984 in Courtenay, British Columbia. He is a graduate of the Studio 58 Theatre Arts program at Langara College in Vancouver. In 2006, prior to his soon-to-be second semester in college, Luke earned a student grant from Hnatyshyn Foundation's Developing Artist Grants to help pay for schooling funds. His earlier education was at Georges P. Vanier Secondary Schoollocated in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island.
As an actor, he has primarily been cast in guest starring roles in Canadian and American television series and miniseries, including Supernatural, The Andromeda Strain, Caprica, Eurekaand Arctic Air. His feature film appearances include Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief as Dionysus and Sook-Yin Lee's directorial debut Year of the Carnivore as Jie.
