I appreciate all the hard work you've done. We really don't need a million pics of Carmelita, tho. We don't need a pic for every new camera angle, facial expression and every sentence she says. It makes the galleries bloated. When I have some free time, I'll delete some of the pics.
Thank you for thinking to message me and for helping edit this wiki! I would say that I respectfully disagree slightly; for one thing, galleries are collapsable, so it's not as if multiple images are crowding the page. For another, I usually don't take so many pictures- I've edited the galleries for the Quagmire parents, Quigley, the Snow Scouts and Beatrice II, for example- but with Carmelita, while I've been trying to keep it small, she has so many varied expressions that I feel like a lot of them can be kept. It really shows her range and adds some variety.
Galleries aren't supposed to capture just facial expressions, though, they're supposed to capture notable moments. Pics for every expression bloat content. For example, it shouldn't take scrolling past 300 pics to see Carmelita in The Penultimate Peril because there's 100 dedicated pics to her in The Grim Grotto of varying repetitive expressions.
Anyway, I wonder how your sanity deals with 19zarood. I think their edits are generally harmful to the wiki. They've been ignoring your complaints for weeks and never replied to a single message. You should make a final post on their message wall telling them you'll block them if they don't reply to it. If they don't, a block is fair grounds, and they might notice "read your message wall" if you make it the "reason for block".
Though I don't completely agree, I understand your point completely. I'll try to be more careful with Carmelita pictures.
Also thank you... 19zarood's edits are a bit difficult. However, I don't think they're malicious. I'll probably add a temporary block next time they make a non-canonical edit (a while ago they were straight-up adding false information) as a warning, and if they continue, a permanent one. I don't want to discourage wiki editing, just the adding of false info, mixing of TV show and book canons where not needed, and poor grammar. (I sound like Josephine with that last bit, lol...)
I checked on my pages and it turns out you have not just deleted my people who have drowned category but you also deleted my other categories which sort out how people died. Please tell me why you did this as I was gonna expand them
I feel that having categories of type of deaths is a bit extravagant. Very few characters die in the same ways, and some categories you added- such as "PG Deaths"- are very subjective, as some people may find a death scary for young audiences and some may not. And again, specific death categories would have an incredibly small amount of pages under them, and we don't want to overcategorize things. Simple categories that are easy to navigate and likely to be used are probably best.
