Roger Bart

Roger Bart is an actor who portrays Vice Principal Nero in the Netflix adaption of A Series of Unfortunate Events.

A Series of Unfortunate Events[]

Bart found Vice Principal Nero to be an unkempt person who imagined himself to be dressed appropriately and properly, so he wore clothes that were either too short or too large. He said that he loved "being a sort of horror clown." He was concerned about his violin playing, as he wasn't sure he would be able to convincingly play. An instructor was hired for him, which made him more nervous, but then he suggested things like playing the violin between his legs, which meant he didn't have to be an accurate violinist.^[1]
