Roy Hardwood was a character in the TV series who was mentioned in a brief flash of The History of Lucky Smells Lumbermill. He was suspected to have started the Paltryville Fire. He left shortly after the fire started, making people think that he was the arsonist. Roy had come to town to take back what he thought was rightfully his Lucky Smells.

Roy claimed that his father and the father of Sir came up with the idea together to build a lumbermill for Paltryville, using driftwood from the Mortmain Mountains. Roy appeared days before the Paltryville Fire to accuse Sir's father of stealing the idea. Sir ordered him thrown out and banned from the premises, and Roy proceeded to push employees and swinging logs around until Sir called the police.
He left town after the fire, leaving many in suspicion that he began it.
