The Viscid Boa is a species of snake that was kept in Monty Montgomery's Reptile Room.


A specimen of the toad was kept in Monty Montgomery's Reptile Room. In an effort to get Arthur Poe to leave them alone, Montgomery suggests he help he and the Baudelaire children gut worms from its bowels.


  • "Viscid" is a word which here means "glutinous; sticky."[1]
